I created a HTML that shows a low performance issue in Firefox 3 on Linux. It is simmilar to this Launchpad Bug.
This HTML was extracted from the Facebook app Armies,it originally had 3000+ lines of HTML & 10,000+ lines of CSS and i shruk it to about 60 lines of code. 60 line of bad code (but w3c valid).
See for yourself: http://lubosz.de/Firefox3PerformanceBug/
I also posted it on bugzilla.mozilla.org
I made a screen recording of my firefox going nuts (comparded to Konqueror KDE4 and Opera 9.50):
You also can download the full 1440×900 xserver ogg dump.

Hello, I’d like to say that it isn’t a “Linux-only” bug. I just reproduced it on a Windows XP machine (ATI HD 3200 video card). Under Vista, on the same machine, Firefox works just fine. Interesting, isn’t it?
Why would you make a website like what you are demonstrating?
i am demonstrating the bug…? how can’t this be clear
it’s definitively clearer than your motives ^^…
